Featured Story

How 208 Volunteers Cleared 371 lbs of Plastic and Waste During the Port Harcourt Beach Cleanup to Mark the International Climate Action for Peace and International Coastal Cleanup

In September 2019, we partnered with the Port Harcourt Tourist Beach community, two corporate sponsors, several partners, and two secondary schools to celebrate International Coastal Cleanup Day. Together, we cleared the shoreline and successfully established a trash-free beach. Our collective efforts yielded incredible results: a measurable drop in shoreline waste density, 123 bags of plastic and debris collected, and the launch of a new Youth Steward community (The Verdant Circus). Today, this initiative serves as our blueprint for annual community cleanups.

Testimonials

Trusted by the people we work with

"Coordinating the International Coastal Cleanup 2025 was a rewarding experience. Beyond waste removal, I had the opportunity to work with passionate student volunteers, which proves the importance of collaborative efforts in protecting our dear planet. The residents were also sensitized on the importance of effective waste management and the dangers of pollution. I look forward to the 2026 edition."

ESG-Ready Reporting

Every engagement is delivered with waste audits (weights, types, GPS), photography, and a board-ready impact deck mapped to UN SDGs 6, 13, 14 and 15.

Audited Transparency

Open budgets, itemised expense reports, and post-cleanup receipts — so finance and compliance teams can sign off with confidence.

Brand-Safe Storytelling

Professional content packages (stills, video, copy) tailored for ESG reports, internal comms, LinkedIn and earned media.

Trusted Community Access

Long-standing relationships with coastal chiefs, schools and youth networks let your team activate safely and at scale — in days, not months.

National Reach, Local Roots

Operations across 5 — soon 8 — coastal states, anchored by Nigerian staff who live in the communities we serve.

Outcomes You Can Defend

Pre/post-cleanup data, volunteer participation logs and waterway health indicators turn every Naira into a defensible CSR metric.

2026 Goals

The year we go bigger nationwide.

With sustained partner support, 2026 will be our largest operational year yet. We would be expanding from 5 to 8 coastal states and embedding waterway education into 100 schools. We would also be carrying out multiple large cleanups, and 2026 would record our first attempts in the international Trash Trap Network.
